A new paper on body mass variability and flight in B. rufomaculata

Congratulations to Tomer for publishing another chapter of his PhD. The paper evaluates how intraspecific variation in body mass affects the flight of the mango stem borer. Read more about it here

For publishing a paper about measurement of flight metabolic rate in free-flying beetles. The paper will be published by Proceedings of the Royal Society B (link) and it resulted from our collaboration with the Eran Levin's lab.

A paper on garden eels feeding in the flow, that we contributed to, has been published in J Exp Biol. It is also featured in the Inside JEB section and on the cover. 
 
The work described was part of Sasha Khrizman's research towards an MSc degree under the supervision of Amatzia Genin and was carried out at the IUI marine lab in Eilat.
